Our Mission Is to Help Kids & Adults Achieve Their Full Potential
Good vision is more than just 20/20.
The full scope of your vision involves complex visual skills, eye-muscle coordination, and visual processing. Weak or uncoordinated eye teaming can cause problems with focusing, tracking, and processing visual information that can’t be treated with glasses or contact lenses alone.
Vision therapy is like physical therapy for your eyes. It’s a personalized program designed to train your brain and eyes to work together more effectively.
Dr. Sangha and our team can help train your vision so you can see comfortably. Book your appointment for a visual assessment.

When Dr. Sangha moved to Victoria in 2010, the city lacked accessible vision therapy. Inspired to make a difference, she helped introduce vision therapy to Greater Victoria and actively pursued training in a field she was truly passionate about.
Since then, she has completed over 150 hours of vision therapy training, and now works alongside a certified vision therapist and a compassionate team of eye care professionals.
Who Can Benefit from Vision Therapy?
Since vision therapy is a personalized treatment program, it can be tailored to treat a variety of vision and vision-related concerns. There’s no age cut-off. The brain is adaptable—this malleability is known as neuroplasticity—so there’s often a way to help make meaningful improvements in the way your eyes and brain work together at every age.
Vision therapy can help kids struggling with vision-related learning challenges, help adults regain independence after a brain injury, or help athletes take performance to the next level.
If you have questions about vision therapy or conditions we can help manage through our program, please get in touch. We can perform a thorough neuro-optometric evaluation to determine how we can help.
Vision-Related Learning Challenges
Trouble with reading, focusing, or tracking can make schoolwork a struggle. Vision therapy can help your child develop the visual skills they need to succeed in the classroom.
Amblyopia (Lazy Eye)
Amblyopia is a condition that occurs when vision doesn’t develop properly in 1 eye because the brain favours the other eye. Vision therapy can help strengthen the weaker eye and improve binocular vision.
Strabismus (Crossed Eyes)
When your eyes aren’t aligned properly, it can cause double vision and difficulty with depth perception. Vision therapy can help you train your eyes to work together more effectively.
Someone with strabismus may not have obvious “”crossed” eyes, as the eye turn can affect 1 or both eyes. The affected eye might face more outward or inward instead of both eyes focusing in the same direction.
Binocular Vision Dysfunction (BVD)
Binocular vision dysfunction (BVD) describes a variety of problems with eye teaming, focusing, and eye movements. Vision therapy can help improve these skills and reduce symptoms like headaches, dizziness, and eye strain.
Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) & Concussion
Traumatic brain injuries (TBI) and concussions can affect vision in a number of ways. Neuro-optometric rehabilitation, a form of vision therapy, can help improve visual processing, tracking, and other visual skills after a brain injury.
Sports Performance
Want to take your game to the next level? Sports vision training can help improve hand-eye coordination, peripheral awareness, and reaction time.
Double Vision
Seeing double can be uncomfortable and frustrating. Vision therapy can help address the underlying cause of double vision and improve binocular coordination.
Poor Depth Perception
Depth perception problems can make everyday activities like catching a ball or navigating stairs difficult. Vision therapy can help improve your ability to judge depth (stereopsis).
Headaches
Frequent headaches can sometimes be caused by eye strain or binocular vision dysfunction (BVD). Vision therapy can help reduce these headaches and improve overall visual comfort.
